Camp St. Croix | Trinity Academy Singers | See You At The Pole
Chapel at Trinity Academy is held weekly on Wednesdays 9-9:30. Parents, siblings and guests are welcome to attend. Chapel is led by Trinity staff, missionaries and guest Pastors. Each grade level will lead Chapel one time during the school year. Classes also take turns singing as a class. The last Chapel day of the month will be small group Chapel. Staff members each take a multi-age group for this small group Chapel time and everyone works on the same lesson. Offering is taken weekly during Chapel.
Our student council determines which organizations/missions are to be the recipients of the Chapel offering. Our fifth graders assist with the music power point each week and Middle School students lead songs through worship band. top
After school enrichment may consist of Chess Club, Mission Club, Lego League, Mad Science, private music lessons, middle school youth group, church choirs and Pioneer Club (held weekly at the Family Center). top
You've heard of spelling bees, quiz bowls, robotics competitions and science fairs. In fact, there is probably a special event for every subject taught at school. Well, Destination ImagiNation is none of those things – and all of those things! Destination ImagiNation is a place where kids take what they know and what they are good at and learn to apply it to solve challenges, working together and cooperatively with a team and pushing the limits of imagination to best not their competition, but themselves. top
Destination ImagiNation is a community-based, school-friendly program that builds participants' creativity, problem solving, and teamwork in enjoyable and meaningful ways. top
Teams of five to seven members work together to apply creativity, critical thinking and their particular talents to solve a Team Challenge.
The Destination ImagiNation Team Challenge is a Challenge that is solved over a period of eight weeks or more. There are five competitive Team Challenges from which teams may choose, each with its own educational focus. Each Team Challenge is designed to be open-ended and solvable in many ways and on many levels.
At Trinity Academy we receive the yearly information from the public school district and our parents organize and lead teams. For more information check the web site at www.destinationimagination.org

Trinity Academy holds regular monthly student council meetings. Each class in grades 2-8 will elect two representatives. Officers are elected from the middle school student body. Student council representatives do service work around school, determine Chapel funds, help with all school events such as our school dance and talent show and See you at the Pole. top
An important part of the environmental education studies curriculum for fifth grade is a two-night/three day camp experience at the YMCA Camp St. Croix just south of Hudson. The camp is generally in the fall and the dates will be decided prior to the beginning of the school year. Parent chaperones and Trinity Academy staff will accompany this group. The cost is the responsibility of each student and his family. If a student and his/her parent choose not to participate, the student will be required to submit assigned work in environmental studies. top
Trinity Academy Singers is our school choir comprised of K-5th grade students. This is a flexible choir allowing for students to participate as family schedules allow. Our singers have performed at the Christian Community Home, Ecumenical Lenten Tryst, Spring Concert, Mall of America Christmas performance, Open House as well as church services during the school year. There are two events each year that are part of our music curriculum and attendance is required at the Christmas program and Spring Concert. This choir is lead and directed by our school music teacher. top
This national event is held the fourth Wednesday of September. On this day students gather at flag poles across the country to pray for teachers, military, and country and community leaders and to praise and worship God. At Trinity Academy our 5th grade class organizes this event and works with the lower grades on prayers and a schedule to the program. At Trinity, because we are blessed to worship God all day, we hold this event after school starts, during our Chapel time. Unlike public school that hold this event before the school day begins.
