At Trinity Academy our students are formally assessed using the following tests. These standardized tests are a snapshot of student performance.
DRA( Developmental Reading Assessment)
BRI (Basic Reading Inventory)
CogAT: Appraises the level and pattern of cognitive development of students.
The test measures both general and specific cognitive abilities.
WKCE (Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam): Measures the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards and is developed and designed by Wisconsin educators in conjunction with CTB/McGraw-Hill. This standardized test is comprised of items specifically designed for Wisconsin and a few commercial developed questions used in schools across the country.
We have chosen to use 4th grade assessment data to show comparisons since the 4th graders are assessed on: Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. All of our assessments are compared to Hudson Public Schools and the Wisconsin State with the same demographics. When the district reports “all students” the data is inclusive of gender, ethnicity, Limited English Proficient, Migrant, disabilities, and educationally disadvantaged. Trinity Academy is inclusive of the same demographics when reporting our data.
The graph below shows our data averaged over a four year period. We are proud of the accomplishments of our students.
