Elementary Information
Our Elementary School is conveniently located at the corner of Sixth Street and St. Croix in the downtown area of Hudson. We welcome visitors to our campus and ask that you check in at the school office upon arrival. We offer Thursday Tours at 9:00am. Please call ahead to schedule a tour. Trinity Academy offers a unique learning experience with one class per grade level. Our class size caps at 24. If enrollment is over 20 in grades K-2 we often may have a classroom aide to provide a smaller teacher to student ratio.
Character development is infused into our entire day. Our biblical principles are woven into our academic curriculum, classroom management and expected “Above The Line” behavior. School Discipline is considered an opportunity for learning and we handle each case with confidentiality. The school has several steps that allow for behavior transformation to take place along with more serious consequences if necessary. We invite parents and guests to attend weekly Chapel services on Wednesdays 9:00-9:30.
Academic curriculum is reviewed by teachers and the School Advisory Board each year according to the review cycle. New curriculum is adopted on a 6 year cycle as needed. Please see individual grades for specific curriculum information.
The all School Christmas Program is an event not to be missed. Through this performance our children remain focused on the celebration of Christ’s birth and outreach to our community. The uniform policy is important to Trinity Academy. Students wear white or burgundy collared tops with navy slacks skirts, shorts or skorts. Burgundy, grey or navy sweatshirts with our logo may be purchased through Lands end.
Bus Transportation is available for any student who lives within the Hudson School District boundaries. Parents contact Safeway Bus Company at 386-2824 or director, Monica Bulla at bullamj@hudson.k12.wi.us.directly for questions. Attendance Boundaries are irrelevant for Trinity Academy. Our students live in many different towns such as River Falls, Woodbury, Hammond, Baldwin, Roberts and Hudson.
Trinity Academy has a library/media center/ computer lab. Students have library time and may check out books. Internet use is allowed only after reading and signing the policy upon registration. Students have regular technology instruction provided by the classroom teacher.
All students receive physical education, Spanish, art and choral music instruction each week. Trinity Academy offers Band, Orchestra and private piano lessons for an additional fee.
As you look through our web site you will gain a greater understanding of who we are as an academic institution and a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church. This video will show a sample of a typical day at Trinity Academy.
